Moleskine

#1 - My cousin, Kelin, and some Doodles

#2 - Portraits of various friends (I didn't really do Joanna justice)

#3 - Mountain Dew addiction, Rache-Bebe, and photobooth photo turned sketch of Ruby & I

Here are some sketches from my moleskine before I start my winter break (which will leave me mostly scanner-less, quite sadly). I'll be finishing my children's book over the course of winter break (it's almost complete!) and posting it up here whenever it's to my liking.

Editorial Illustration

Here are the last two assignments that I did in my Editorial Illustration class this quarter.
The first image is of a pattern that I made for an article concerning global warming and the environment. The second two images are a proposed magazine layout for a moss graffiti tutorial, and the following is a detail image from the tutorial.

Senor Fun!

Here are a couple drawings from my sketchbook of the one & only... Senor Fun! Click on the images to see the full size versions.

A little back story for those of you who aren't familiar with Senor Fun:
Senor Fun is an imaginary friend that I created during my junior year at SCAD while sleep deprived and freaked out about finals. Since then, he's popped up in a lot of my sketchbooks, comics, paintings, and even my Munny project. He's pretty much the best imaginary friend a girl can have. [For more information on Senor Fun, click the first picture! P.S. There's a mistake in it: it's supposed to say "favorite drink: beer, favorite food: beer"]

Sketchbook Self Portrait

Fact: I am, in fact, winking. My eye is not bruised over and/or missing. I may sometimes wish I was Odin, but I'm not going as far as removing my own eyeball. P.S. You'll probably want to click on the picture so you can read it better.

I'm currently working on a children's book as well as an illustrated tutorial for school. Assuming that both (or either one) of those come out looking snazzy, I will post them here for the world to see!

That is all.
